It was just a fitting option for a fleeting pause in Fladbury with good value for cost. The old-fashioned single bed was quite surprising, but it got the job done for one night. Make sure to check if the dining options are available on your stay.

The atmosphere of the Chequers Inn felt welcoming, with friendly staff who made the check-in process smooth. My room was cozy and had a charming character, which made settling in nice. I particularly loved the delicious breakfast served in the morning. the variety was great and it filled me up for the day. I ran into several issues during my stay. The shower cubicle was quite tight, making it difficult to get in comfortably. Wi-Fi in my room was spotty, leading me to head downstairs for a better connection. I noticed a bit of wear and tear in the room, indicating a need for upgrades. The carpet looked like it could use a deep clean, and the bathroom showed some signs of neglect. while I enjoyed many elements of my stay, the lack of attention to certain details and the poor Wi-Fi were noticeable downsides.

Solo traveler will find much to like
I had a lovely single room for a night the view was stunning from the window, gave me a nice ambiance as I settled down to write in my journal. The breakfast was served by a busy but friendly chef who really knew what he was doing, I wasn’t hungry but the coffee and toast with eggs I ordered were massive and very well made!.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the quality just about justified the cost.
